The Etcetera Companies LLC ("Etcetera," "we," "us," or "our") operates this corporate website, etceteracompanies.com (the "Site"), and a portfolio of consumer brands — including Not Your Score (notyourscore.com), Rate Rebel (theraterebel.com), and TubSwap (tubswap.com).
This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this corporate Site, and describes — at a group level — how our consumer brands collect and use personal information. Each brand site has its own privacy policy that governs the information collected there; if you submitted information on one of our brand sites, that site's policy controls.
Your privacy choices
You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and exercise access, correction, and deletion rights. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. Requests about a specific brand are best directed to that brand's privacy contact.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information01 Who this policy covers
This policy applies to personal information we collect through the corporate Site (for example, when you contact us or inquire about partnerships) and provides group-level transparency about our consumer brands. It does not replace the individual privacy policies of Not Your Score, Rate Rebel, and TubSwap, which govern personal information collected on those sites.
02 Information we collect on this Site
Information you provide
If you email us or submit a partnership or general inquiry, we collect the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, company, and the contents of your message. This is a business and informational site; we do not collect consumer lead information here.
Information collected automatically
Your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
03 Information our consumer brands collect
Our consumer brands operate as free matching services. When a consumer completes a form on a brand site, that brand collects the information the consumer provides (such as contact details and information relevant to the product category) along with consent-verification records (such as TrustedForm or Jornaya LeadiD certificates). Our brands share or sell that information to third-party buyers and marketing partners — lenders, insurers, agents, contractors, and similar partners — who may contact the consumer about options. This activity is described in full in each brand's own privacy policy and is conducted with consumer consent and applicable disclosures.
04 How we use information
We use corporate-Site information to respond to inquiries, evaluate and manage partnerships, operate and secure the Site, and comply with our legal obligations. Across the group, information is used to operate our brands, match consumers with relevant providers, prevent fraud and verify quality, and meet legal and contractual requirements.
06 Cookies and the GPC signal
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, measure performance, and support marketing. You can control cookies through your browser. Where required, we and our brands honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
07 California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because our brands share or sell consumer information to partners, these rights are meaningful across the group. To exercise them, use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link or email [email protected] — or contact the relevant brand directly. We honor the GPC signal, will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and accept requests from authorized agents.
08 Other state privacy rights
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington — may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, opt out of targeted advertising and sale, and appeal a denied request. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights.
09 Security and retention
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We retain information as long as needed to operate our business, meet legal obligations (including retaining consent records), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
10 Children's privacy
Our Site and brands are intended for individuals 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
11 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
